NEIGHBORHOOD ART INTERVENTIONS

Art & History of Propaganda explores site-specific art as a tool of propaganda. Students create site-specific art interventions that respond to an issue in their community environment. As part of the research process, students went on a dérive in a their neighborhoods space, a psycho-geographical practice conceived of by midcentury avant-garde artists and intellectuals. Prior to this project, students completed a similar process in their school space.
